**Curnock, Perry Edwin, MBE, 1873-1956:
花卉畫師，是英國沃里克郡（Warwickshire）一個農夫的孫子，他在道頓瓷廠當學徒，同時就讀於伯斯勒姆（Burslem）藝術學校，因此遇見Edward Raby，Fred Hancock，David Dewsbury等名畫師，並受到他們的藝術風格所影響。他在John Slater和Robert Allen兩人教導下受訓，最終成為道頓的首席畫師。他令人驚奇的深刻的是淡水彩畫作，創始於Frank Slater。他的作品曾參加1889年在巴黎舉辦的世界博覽會，許多他的畫作被選為平版印刷的設計圖。雖然他以玫瑰畫著稱，但他也畫風景畫，尤其是義大利的湖景，以柯洛（Corot）風格表現。在1953年，他出借他的寫生簿及兩幅花卉畫作給在特倫特河畔斯托克（Stoke-on-Trent）的漢利（Hanley）古董的世紀展覽會。而在1954年，他被授予大英帝國MBE勳章。

**Piper, Henry E. (Harry), 1859-1906:
Flower and bird painter, son of Enoch (q.v.), born in Madeley, Shropshire, first employed at Coalport then at Doulton painting flowers. Henry created the Doulton rose, which he painted on dessert plates that were exhibited at the World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago, of 1893. His work was in great demand, particularly by the famous retail house of Tiffany's of New York. His death at the age of forty-seven was a great loss to the industry.

**David Dewsbury joined Doulton (Service 1889–1919) after working at the Hill Pottery, Burslem. He specialised in floral studies and is acknowledged as a master painter of orchids. His finest work appears on cabinet plates and ornamental vases.
